Ambiguous illusions are pictures or objects that elicit a perceptual ‘switch’ between the alternative interpretations. The Necker cube is a well known example; another instance is the Rubin vase.(Necker cube above)
Ambiguous illusions are optical illusions that make you see two images in one picture. It usually tricks your brain into seeing one image when really there are 2 very obvious images but you almost always have a hard time seeing 1 image but you automatically see 1.
